I have a proposed system for a customer, I will be taking over their main phone numbers through my SIP provider. The customer also wants backup POTS lines on site in the event of a internet outage. My thought is to have a main local PBX with a cloud slave (or vice versa?). My question is, in the event of a local internet outage how would I go about forwarding calls from the main number (SIP), through the cloud pbx, to the POTS number(s), through the local pbx and to my extensions? Also, is this the best way to approach this?
