Call Transfer - flash time

Installed a Siemens Gigaset C450 as an extension. Documentation says: To transfer a call to another phone operating behind a PABX you have to set the flash time from the operating system. If it is set press the R key and dial the internal number (given from the PABX).
How do I set the flash time on 3CX? Pressing R key doesnt work.

Defalt Settings in phone are:
DTMF Over VoIP Connections
Send Settings : Audio

HOOK FLASH:
Application type : dtmf-relay
Application signal: 16

Flash is for analog phone systems. If only call transfer were that easy in SIP!

VOIP phone systems use a SIP command for it. So not sure what exactly that phone is but that setting relates to connection to an analog PBX.

I have analogue lines as well as voip lines. Using a Grandstream 4104 gateway.

Hi Zadean. If your hand sets are VOIP/SIP types there should be a transfer button, or there may be a * command that will allow a transfer.

On analogue phones into an ATA such as a Grandstream then the recall button (FLASH) or a star command is used, depending on whether a blind or attended transfer is required.

I cannot see where to set this from 3CX.

Hi Zadean, I guess its not designed for transfering voip calls, which is surprising. The grandstream ATAs when on a VOIP call (in or out) recognise the recall button is pressed as a line break (equivalent to pressing on hook for several hundered ms) this gives a second VOIP dialing tone to transfer a call.

This works too on Dect phones connected to their ATAs where the phone has a recall button.

In AnalogPhones can Flash Time be setted from phones menu.

Siemens C450IP has also webmanagment. It may has your requested feature!

Has anybody solved the problem of "R" Key on C450 Gigaset with 3CX?

I cannot transfer any call, could you please help me.

On 3cx PBX there is another key sequence to hold and tranfer calls?

3CX PBX doesn't use any key sequences to transfer. It process SIP REFER request to initiate transfer.

I cannot hold and transfer the call in any other mode?
