I have set up auto-attendant with options to leave VM or forward to my mobile. To forward to mobile I created an extension code and set it up to forward all calls to outsider number = my mobile.
If I call the dummy extension from another phone it connects to my mobile OK.
If I select the option from auto-attendant I get voice message "Call transfer failed". In my log I see message:
16:27:52.724 Call::RouteFailed [CM503014]: Call(35): Attempt to reach [sip:[email protected]] failed. Reason: Not Registered
16:27:52.568 Call::RouteFailed [CM503014]: Call(35): Attempt to reach [sip:[email protected]] failed. Reason: Not Registered
16:27:52.568 CallCtrl:
nSelectRouteReq [CM503015]: Call(35): Target is not registered: Ext:Ext.42
16:27:52.568 CallCtrl:
nSelectRouteReq [CM503010]: Making route(s) to [sip:[email protected]]
So it seems that the auto-attendant forward to extension does not work if the extension is not registered, even if a forward all calls (or forward when not registered) rule is in place for the relevant extension.
Is there any fix for this ?
