I have been trying to configure Callcentric and I am encountering problems. I am using 3CX version 5.0.3790.0. I am able to configure the line directly against the Express Talk Softphone. However when using 3CX the line doesn't register with Callcentric. This leads me to believe that my ports might be okay and something else is the problem.

The setup tutorial on Callcentric for 3CX is very detailed so unless I overlooked a small detail I am not sure what the trouble might be. Here is an excerpt of the instructions is there anything abvious wrong with them?

VoIP Provider = callcentric
Registrar/Proxy Hostname or IP: callcentric.com
Outbound Proxy Hostname or IP: callcentric.com

Registrar/Proxy Port: 5060
Outbound Proxy Port (default is 5060): 5060

Registration settings
Time between registration attempts (in seconds): 3600
Require (optionally: authorized) registration for: Both in-out calls
Which IP to use in 'Contact' field for registration: Internal

Codec Priorities
Assigned codecs: G.711U-law
G.711A-law
GSM-FR

STEP 3 Account Details
Once you have added the VoIP Provider, you should be prompted to enter in your user credentials. As indicated on the picture below, please enter in the following:

External Number: 1777MYCCID
Authentication ID: 1777MYCCID
Authentication Password: <SUPERSECRET>

Where 1777MYCCID is your Callcentric number and <SUPERSECRET> is the same password you create when you sign up for you Callcentric account. Optionally you may change it in your preferences.

STEP 4 Adding an Outbound Rule
Next, you should be prompted to enter an Outbound Rule for the VoIP provider. By default, the name of the rule should be set to Rule for "callcentric". Please ensure that the Calls to Numbers starting with field is blank. You may of course change this later to any number you wish. By doing so an extension would need to dial the set number on an outbound call, for example a popular qualifier is often the number 9. To save your Outbound Rule, please click on the Finish button.

Rule Name: Rule for "callcentric"

Calls to Numbers starting with:

This is the log file associated with this problem.
It seems that there is a request for registration that goes out, but there may be a time out happening.

I'm sure one of the 3cx bods will be able to give you a far better reply than I can ...

The instructions on the callcentric web site are accurate - even for v5.

I use CallCentric as one of the VOIP providers on our v5 installation. The original (first) v5 RC2 build didn't like callcentric at all - but that was confirmed as a bug and the more recent builds don't appear to have the previous registration issues.

That said .. I have noticed some 'weirdness'. In that sometimes when looking at the 'Lines' page in the control panel the Callcentric VOIP line shows as not registered (yet both inbound & outbound calls to/via that line connect successfully).
We use the v5 version you've noted on our live production machine and as yet haven't verified a problem.

(That said - our setup will automatically redirect all CallCentral calls to our second VOIP provider (InPhonex) if the CallCentric line isn't registered. For that reason we'd have to be actively watching / testing to notice a problem).

Also you may wish to bear in mind that Callcentric had a complete systems failure about a week ago (website, lines - everything). Perhaps that is related to your problems.
