Hello. I enabled CallerID Name Lookup on my trunk provider for my DID. This is the first time I've attempted this and I'm unsure what I need to do on the 3CX side to show this information when a call comes in.

My setup is Linux 3CX, fully up to date. Yealink T42s phones. Incoming calls go to a ring group called "Everyone". Right now on the phone screens we see Everyone - <Incoming Phone Number>

Can someone point me in the right direction?

I just tried on one of my queues. It shows up on the phone as
CALLER_ID_NAME :CALL_QUEUE_NAME:CALLER_ID

I had nothing to do.

You enabled it at the trunk and then did nothing on the 3cx side? It just worked?

So if you are using a supported provider the templates are already configured. If you aren't, you need to look at wireshark or the logs in verbose or talk to your provider to find out where they are sending the CID name info.

Which provider are you using? Someone else, using the same provider, may have some tips if a setting requires changing.

Hello @american10

You may need to change a setting in the Inbound parameters of the trunk. Specifically try to change the value "CallerName" caller's name (default: From->display name)" to "From: Display Name"
