How do you get 3CX to send the CallerID? I have configured everything I can think of but the CallerID always shows up as "Unknown". My SIP truck has been configured by my provider to allow a passthrough of my CallerID as well.

Either set it globally (if you have one DDI) or per extension if you have bulk DDI's.

Failing that check with your provider. You may want to confirm they support CLIP (calling line identification presentation) no screening this allows you to send any number as calling line to the network.

Who is the provider ?

I am using IXICA.

I checked with IXICA when I started and made sure that everything was configured correctly at their end. I also went into the 3CX console and made sure that CallerID is set both at the trunk and extension levels. But, it still reports as Unknown.

Yes, and the guide states they support CLIP, it might though be worth asking them as I know some providers do require the feature at additional request.

Failing that I would Wireshark it probably and see whether the CLID is being sent via the trunk or not.

Verifying with them that my trunk was set up to forward the CallerID from my PBX was one of the first things I did. I filled out the form and was informed that everything was good to go. The ID that they provided immediately disappeared and was replaced by the "Unknown" that I am now getting which is why I assumed that I am looking at a 3CX configuration issue.

I suggest then running a trace from 3CX, getting both legs of the call. You can PM it with what you are expecting to see if you want clarity.
