We use the Live Chat for both authenticated and un-authenticated web pages.
On the un-authenticated pages we certainly need to ask for the name and email address to initiate the chat.
However, it seems clunky to have to ask for a name and email on a webpage (student portal) where the user is already known and authenticated.
We would like to be able to skip asking the user for that information, since we already know it.
We would also like to be able to pass it in to the call-us tag so that the representative could see who is requesting the chat.
For clarity, we have the skills to program and use APIs. We just need to know if this is possible? And if so, is there a reference document or API that we should look to?
