We currently have 3CX V12 installed (on a Windows 2008 R2 machine) . Apart from the occasional license limit (2SC) all is good. No ongoing licensing/payments etc.

I now see that the free edition V15.5 has 4SC and stopped supporting Windows Server 2008 R2.

If we therefore complete a clean install of V15.5 (to a dedicated windows 10 machine) will we get 4SC for free or will this only last for 1 year? Will we then be forced to purchase a license even though 4SC is perfectly adequate for our needs?

4SC will be free after 1 year (as it currently stands).
For the first year, it will be 16 SC

To add, the Free licence is not openly available as stated by SweetAction.

If you download from the website a 16SC standard - this is currently the Free version (for 1 year only until downgrade).

Just to confirm - yes license will remain free forever

Thank you for confirming. There's been a lot of threads on this topic
