I have a client where the page group includes a GXP1625 phone that is connected to the PA system. When that phone is paged through the page group, there is first a short, high pitched beep before the person can make an announcement.
The problem is that short, high pitched beep. It is excruciatingly loud and painful when it comes over the PA. (It also scares the hell out of some people.) If I turn the PA volume down to where the beep isn't annoying, you can't hear the announcement the person is saying. So changing the volume is not an option.
It is NOT the same warning tone for the "auto answer intercom" that you can turn on and off by changing P26072 in the template.
Is there a way to either turn off that beep or change it to a different ringtone?
