Hi 3CX Community

I use AWS Lightsail to host my 3CX instances. I created a new 3CX pabx and accidentally chose 3CX hosted when i ran the 3CX Express. When the Express completed i realised my mistake and re-ran the 3CX Express and chose AWS Lightsail. All was fine over the weekend until the 3CX hosted instance became operational and is now causing issues with my AWS instance, probably because i am using the same email for the client.
Can someone explain to me how to delete the 3CX instance. On the partner portal i can only reboot. I will appreciate any help given. Thankyou.

You should have a button next to the key in the partner portal that says 'Self Host'

Please fill the following form " https://www.3cx.com/contact-form/ " and open a ticket to the Cloud Team with the following information :

Send us the content of the email you have received from our side when you created this PBX.
This will contain username and password of the PBX ( not welcome email for extension )
We will login, verify its yours and then we will delete it from our hosting platform (forever) and provide you a feedback.
Then in order to get you public ip to change in our dns servers you need to navigate to your hosting PBX >> Settings > network and switch to use 'Dynamic Public IP (IP changes)' Then restart services using the services.mmc.

Then wait 20 minutes and go back and switch back to ' Static Public IP (IP Address does not change)' and again restart services.

It will take up to an hour to change on our systems DNS and then up to 6 or more hours to propagate around the internet as this then depends to the local DNS Servers and cache of each side.

Hi NikosT

Thankyou for responding. The 3CX running on AWS is working fine now, as i logged into the 3CX Partner Portal and changed the license form Hosted to Private Cloud, but i still need to remove the hosted 3CX PABX. When i set up the hosted 3CX PABX i did not get the email with the login details to the system. The emails i did get, was the email to authorise the email address and the login details to the customers partner portal. When i try to log into the 3CX and choose Forgot Password with admin login, i get message:

Password recovery
An Email containing password reset instructions could not be sent. Contact your Administrator.

I do not know any other way to get the password. Thanks again for your help.

Err you don't want to post that publically.

Hi NikosT, have you sent me an email requesting my admin password?

Thanks for the help Nikos
