Solved Cannot Detele Departments

Hi Community,

After the V20 upgrade, I cannot delete a department. Here the problem is, that the system owner is in this department and the system is not allowing me to remove the system owner from that department. But it was possible in the previous version. The system owner is in another department as well, this is not the only department that the system owner belongs to.

Yes Correct, I don't need the SO in this department. So I want to remove that and delete the department.

No. Just one. Do I have to add multiple in this case?

If the System Owner is only a System owner of one department you are not allowed to delete it as it requires to be part of the the Group. Just to clarify, this extension is part of the Default Department as System Owner only or in other departments as well?

Extension 000 was the only system owner I had( At the time of upgrading to the V20) and I can see this user as a system owner in group-1, But I have another group with the same user and it shows as a manager. But System owner we define at the user level. How can this be?

Manage to resolve the issue. It's an issue with the upgrade. I removed the 000 user shows as a manager from that group and added it again, now it shows as a system owner. I can now remove the 000 user from the group-2
