Hi,
New up to date 3CX on premise system.
Setting up new Yealink SIP-T46U and SIP-T43U.
Both phones had newer unsupported firmware.
Tried to downgrade the firmware from the 3CX console.
The SIP-T46U downgraded to the proper 108.84.0.100 firmware.
The SIP-T43U did not downgrade, stayed on newer 108.85.0.15 firmware.
Tried to downgrade on the phone web interface as per 3CX instructions for manual upgrade.
Did not work. Factory reset. Tried again. Did not work.
Checked Yealink web site for maybe different version to downgrade to get to target version.
They do not have any downloads for the T43U that I could find.
The phone is recognized and provisioned but not supported firmware and planning to purchase 60 phones so I want to make sure that all is good.
Any ideas would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Victor

The inability to downgrade firmware is not a 3CX issue. You'd want to take that up with Yealink or your distributor. And all is not good in the sense that 3CX only tests/supports with the supported firmware. So you'll have to either wait to see what Yealink or your distributor says as far as being able to downgrade, wait will 3CX supports the firmware version you are on (or higher that you can upgrade to), or roll the dice and deploy as-is.

Hi Cobaltit,
I did not consider the downgrade issue to be a 3CX issue.
Just checking to see if anybody else had some ideas about how to deal with this problem.
I will check with Yealink and distributor.
Thanks.
