hi guys, i think im having the same problem mentioned here:

https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/issue-with-editing-extensions.62743/

i took a backup and then restored my pbx and now i cant edit existing extensions.

v16.0.0.1375 is the version im on.

here is my error:
Code:
An error occurred during the activation of a particular registration. See the inner exception for details. Registration: Activator = Editor (ReflectionActivator), Services = [ManagementConsoleJS.Services.Abstract.IEditor], Lifetime = Autofac.Core.Lifetime.CurrentScopeLifetime, Sharing = None, Ownership = OwnedByLifetimeScope ---> An exception was thrown while invoking the constructor 'Void .ctor(ConfigurationManagementModel.IConfigurationModel, ConfigurationManagementModel.ICfgItem, ManagementConsoleJS.Services.Adapters.PropertyFilter, ManagementConsoleJS.Services.Adapters.CreateAdapter)' on type 'Editor'. ---> Root element is missing. (See inner exception for details.) (See inner exception for details.)

im not using 365 integration and these ext were manually added on initial setup.

thanks

I have encountered the exact same bug today. I do have O365 activation but these two users were added manually way before that. Incidentally neither of these users are shown on the list if I try to choose them as an O365 user to Sync. I tried deleting one to re-add and still doesn't show on O365 user list. Frustratingly one of the users is an operator so I can't delete/re-add that one. It's literally stuck. Clearly as bug as two of us have had it (I was/am also running latest Beta).

Bump

Just updated to version 16.0.1110 and I still cannot modify my extensions.

Hi,

I think it might be best to open a ticket for this case for further investigation.

I did an export/import of extensions to solve this issue.

i dont know if i lose any settings doing this but it's only a test system.
