Solved Can't activation license, updates or provision new phones

3CX failed to establish a TCP connection to activation.3cx.com.
Ensure that the local or border firewalls are configured to allow outbound traffic to activation.3cx.com

Can't update because it complaining my license has expired, which it hasn't, double checked everything.

• Tried apt-get upgrade, apt-get update & reboot
• Rebooted of course
• Can't update via interface
• Version 15.5.6354.2 / Linux
• All updates have been downloaded after completing apt-get update & upgrade
• Phones won't update or provision new ones

Read and tried a couple of other threads but still having issues contacting the licensing server.

It does say in the second screenshot The following packages have been kept back: 3cxpbx

Any threads I should look at?

Typical, think I've solved it but gave myself a heart attack in doing so.

apt-get install 3cxpbx

Which looked like it was re-installing everything from a fresh but didn't.

Yep. several emails sent out last year. Activation server updates required Update 6 to be able to talk to the activation server.

Glad to see the issue has been resolved. As @cobaltit mentioned you need to be on SP6 to be able t contact the activation server as older versions can no longer authenticate because of a required certificate change.
