Can't create 2200 extensions?

I'm trying to create and extension for 2201 and I get the error:

• Given DN number cannot be used

Doesn't seem to be a system extension... Any ideas?

what version PBX are you using? also is your PBX set to 4 digit extensions? can you create the 2202 extension or do you get the same error?

Is there a SIP ID used somewhere that matches? What happens if you dial that extension number? Check the 3CX Activity log if the call appears to go somewhere.
