Hi,

I have 3cx system running on 10.0.10.101. I have several voip users in two other buildings as 10.0.90.x. and also 10.0.70.x. When I use the 3cx VoIP Client softphone, everything works fine and all is well. When I use my 7940 (10.0.10.105) and I call anyone in 10.0.10.101, it is also fine. But when I call or receive a call from 10.0.90.x or 10.0.70.x on the 7940, they can hear me but I can't hear them.

Here is the log:

[email protected] is the Cisco 7940
[email protected] is the 3cx softphone
[email protected] is another 3cx softphone.

1001 <-> 1002 Works great
1002 <-> 1001 Only 1001 can hear me, I can't hear them.

Thanks for the help!

A assume your Cisco phone is in another subnet. What is in between? A Cisco router?

It might be that your 3CX system thinks the Cisco phone is an external phone. How did you configure the SIP server in your Cisco phone? With an FQDN or an IP adress? If you entered the FQDN please try the IP adress. That worked for me.
