Solved Can't install 3CX 15.5 Debian Hash Sum Mismatch

Good afternoon!

I'm having issues getting 15.5 for debian installed both via the ISO file provided at

https://downloads-global.3cx.com/downloads/debian9iso/debian-amd64-netinst-3cx.iso

and through the manual process outlined here:

When installing from the ISO, there don't appear to be any errors, it preps debian and installs the base system. Then moves on to the 3CX install portion and this seems to complete without error but upon reboot none of the 3CX files or folders are present.

When installing manually I'm met with a "Hash Sum mismatch" when fetching the file 3cxpbx_15.5.15502.6_amd64.deb. I have attached a screenshot of this error. I believe I'm likely running into the same issue while running the ISO installer but it never gives an indication of an error.

It happened to me before and it worked when I tried a few hours later. (without changing anything)

It could however be a network issue meaning that for whatever reason the file might be incomplete thus producing hash sum mismatch error. Try apt-get clean and try again. Might help.

Well I tried an install in a test environment in my office and it worked without a hitch so it must be something on the client network causing me trouble. I'll report back when I figure out what the culprit is.

It should be pulling from a CDN so the CDN might have a bad copy or you might need to do a apt-clean like @florink mentioned. If you have some sort of web proxy/content filter it could also be mangling the packages.

Hey guys. Issue was a recently setup proxy of which I wasn't initially aware. Temp disabled the proxy while pulling the package down and no more checksum issues.
