Can't Join Scheduled Conf. Call Prior to Exact Start Time

Is there a way to disable the "feature" that does not allow people to join a conference call before the exact start time? It would be nice for customers of ours to be able to join the call a minute or two (or 5) prior to the actual start time of the scheduled conference. I can't seem to find a way to do this.

I agree. This would be beneficial. At least 15 minutes prior would be nice. You'll need to go to Facebook and add it as a feature request.

The way that we handle the conference calls, is create the call in myphone, and set it up 15 minutes ahead of your conference call, create the conference with only the email address of the person hosting the call.
Then they go into outlook, right click the call and add attendees. Now they can set it for the proper time, and add the attendees from their address book, and set the proper end time.
