Hi,

It's the first time that I have built a phone system.

Incoming calls are fine, internal calls are fine. Just can't make outgoing calls.

My activity log shows something like this
[Flow] Target endpoint for 9013XXXXXXXX can not be built!

Just to provide some more info. I am in the uk and the phone number area code starts with 013

I have create an outbound rule like this
Calls to numbers starting with prefix: 9
Calls from extension(s): 200-300
Calls to Numbers with a length of: 12
Route 1: Gamma, Strip Digits: 1, prepend: Blank.

Not sure what else to look at. Any suggestions?

It would appear that you still do not have outbound rules that match the dialled digits, or your trunk is not registered.

Is there a reason you are restricting the length or the extensions? I'd start with a basic rule and then refine from there. I'd also set the logging to verbose to see what is going on.

The Trunk shows a green circle, so assume it registered successfully?
I added the length and extensions while I was trying to get it to work.

here a few questions

By default, does 3CX expect a 9 for outbound calls?
When you do use a 9 do you need to select Strip Digits to 1 in the outbound rules?
Which bit of the verbose log would I need to paste to be of any use? This one?

Replace IP and Phone number details with exact number of X's

Code:

3CX expects what you tell it to expect. Some people choose to use an access digit, most times a 9, but some do not. If you do choose to use an access digit, you will have to strip it, before sending to your provider. The number sent (format), must also match what they are expecting.

I don't see originating extension numbers, in your attachment, nor do I see the URL of a provider. I would also expect to see a reply (rejection?).

If it's a registration based trunk then yes. If it's an IP authenticated trunk then it will always show green.

And registration alone just means you should be able to make calls. You still have to send calls in the correct format that the provider accepts. You mentioned using Gamma which looks to be 3CX supported. Have you tried reaching out to them? Supported providers should have a guide or at least their support should be able to help you resolve this.

I managed to get it fixed. Had the wrong SIP Trunk IP... Doh
