Can't provision 3CX Phone for Windows v6.0 with 3CX Assist.

When I download the new version of the 3CX phone for Windows 7, it does not link up with 3CX Assistant. I tried reloading 3CX Assistant with integration to the 3CX Phone for Windows 7, but it reverts back to the old version of the 3CX Phone for Windows. What am I doing wrong here?

Hi Rob
You're doing nothing wrong - 3CXPhone vers 6 is "ver 6" only as standalone version. 3CXPhone ver 6 is not supposed to be integrated with Assistant, due to the new design/features provided by the 3CXPhoneSystem v.10 package.

However, an "unsupported solution" to your problem is:
- without Assistant installed, install 3CXPhone v6
- copy somewhere its whole binary folder, C:\Program Files\3CXPhone
- uninstall 3CXPhone v6
- install Assistant with its "embedded" 3CXPhone v5
- overwrite Asssistant's phone binaries folder with the one you saved earlier.
