Hi, I'm not currently able to reprovision or update firmware on any of my phones. Remote reboot is working fine.
This issue was only noticed last week as our extension names are not updated often. The setup is a 3CX server hosted in our datacentre, with an SBC running at every site. All sites are connected via an MPLS - all traffic for all servers goes out via the datacentre. So nominally everything is internal and behind the same public IP.
When the issue was discovered the server was still running 15.5 SP6, so last night I upgraded it to the latest release and upgraded all of the SBC installs as well. The issue still persists.
I have checked all of the networking side and can't find any traffic being blocked. The fact that remote reboots work seems strange as well. I can connect to the phone web interfaces direct from the 3CX server.
The only error I can find in the SBC logs is this:
CRIT | 20200728-031642.895 | 3CX | SBC | 7944 | Log.cpp:159 | Log started: type = file, level = ERR, size = 104857600, resip = ERR, remote = -1
CRIT | 20200728-031642.895 | 3CX | SBC | 7944 | Bridge.cpp:28 | System Clock: resolution 0 microseconds, not monotonic
ERR | 20200728-031643.051 | 3CX | SBC | 7944 | Dns.cpp:80 | [DNS] Failed to retrieve SRV records for _3cxtunnel._tcp.pbx.domainname; errcode=4
ERR | 20200728-031643.051 | 3CX | SBC | 7944 | TunnelTcp.cpp:183 | Failed to resolve DNS SRV record for tunnel connection to pbx.domainname
As far as I can tell from searching those errors, I think that's related to publishing the server for access out of the office - we don't currently do this.
Anyone have any ideas?
