Share any instructions/idea to leave a voicemail automatically if the outbound call is unanswered and reaches the voicemail box of the customer. If I need to use CFD, please suggest the components and attributed that needs to be used.

This is not possible. 3CX does not have the ability to detect a voicemail box. It will know the call was answered, but it will not know if it was a human, IVR, or voicemail box.

Thank you for your reply, in that case, can an Agent leave a pre-recorded standard voicemail by pressing a button or combination of buttons on the dial-pad to leave the voicemail manually?

Or

Can we send a pre-recorded voice message to the corresponding email of the customer by looking it up in the database, can this sort of automation is possible?

Use an IVR with a prompt and end call after 1sec. Transfer the call to the IVR right before the voicemail record tone.

@ConceptsWeb has offered a solution that requires some compromises. Keep in mind that this will only work if (1) a live human answers the phone, or (2) if the voicemail box starts recording the instant the call is answered.

More typically a voicemail box will say something like "I'm sorry I am not currently available to take your call. Please leave your name, your phone number, and a brief message after the tone.... beep". You need to account for a delay in recording by playing the same message multiple times.

If an IVR answers the phone, there will be no way for your contact to receive the message.

But I think we need to revisit the whole conversation from the beginning. Who is making the outbound call? The CFD typically only handles calls it is directly connected to, rather than monitoring calls made by others. If you are wanting to monitor outbound calls placed by your employees, this task is probably outside the intended scope of a CFD application.

What you would need is a completely separate service that monitors for unanswered outbound phone calls and have the service take an action like send an email.

Thanks for the suggestion, worth trying I believe. Is there no way to identify the human voice or voice machine because my next question was around retrieving a parked call once the human answers on the other end.

There is no ability to identify what answered the phone call -- human, IVR, or voicemail. You can detect:
  • The call was answered
  • The call failed (bad number)
  • The call was not answered
