Change Default Local IP in 3CX?

Hi Guys,

Ive got a problem in that the machine that has 3CX on has got 2 Network adaptors, and for some reason 3CX is picking up the Default Local IP as the wrong adaptor, Ive tried setting the adaptor i dont want it to use and calling it ZZZZZZ and leaving the one i want it to use set to Local Area Connection but its still picking up the wrong one.

In Settings > Network > Stun Tab ive set the IP to the correct adaptor but its still picking up the wrong one.

The reason i need this is that its using the wrong adaptor to try and register the VOIP Provider and its failing as there is no net on that adaptor. Incoming connections are fine its just the outgoing.

Any Ideas?

Hi

In the Control Panel > Network Connection > Advanced > Advanced settings, try to move the NIC you wish the server to use to the top of the list.

Then reboot the machine and advise the outcome.

Ive not got that, in the Control Panel ive got:

Settings > Network OR Advanced, Neither have an "Advanced Settings" however. And Certainly none show the NIC?

Once you are in the Network Connections window from Control Panel you go to the menu's across the top of the window.
There should be File, Edit, View, Favourites, Tools, Advanced, Help

In XP under the Advanced menu there is "Advanced Settings" which is where you can move the order of the network adapters.

Sorry i was in the 3CX control panel looking there.

LAC is top which is the correct one and the one i dont want it to use is last.

For some reason it does actually appear to be working correctly now, although ive changed nothing at all the last few reboots have been ok.
