Hello,

I have to change the ip address of my 3CX. The 3CX and the phones (snom) should move to a seperate vlan with it's own ip subnet. I changed the ip of the 3CX and adapt the network settings. So far so good. But now I have the problem that the phones do not register. I got to "extensions" -> "phone provisioning" settings and clicked "OK" for reprovisioning. Even after restarting the phone, it cannot connect. The field "select interface" already contains the new ip address of 3CX.

Thanks for your help!

Hi,

If you have changed the LAN IP-address of the PBX you have to re-install the PBX.

Hi,

That should not be necessary.

Just factory reset one of the phones, wait for it to appear in bold in the "Phones" section, and try to assign it to its extension.

Also, make sure you restarted the machine BEFORE trying to provision anything.

Did I missed something?
Since when is this possible?

At least from V15.5SP6 (if not earlier) when you log into your management console after an IP change and restart, you will notice that there is a message telling you that there is an IP mismatch.

1. You can click the message to update your IP and and you should be good to go.

2.You get additional information

3. You select the correct interface (if you have more than one) or just press OK to commit
