change status via dialcode of other extension

It's great to be able to change your status via a dialcode of your own extension. (*30, *31, etc etc) when only using phones.
It would be even better if it would be possible to change the status of another extension this way. Is there a way to do this?

Incoming calls to a general business number are routed to a specific "status" extension. This extension determains what to do with the incoming calls at certain times of the day. A lot of times customer would like to manually change the status of this extension which is not his own extension. Is this possible?

It would be sorted if we could change the "other"extension via the mobile app. (logged in as myself ofcourse)

As an administrator you should be able to assign rights ti certain users to be able to do this.This would cover possible abuse, correct?

I think @leejor was talking about your original scenario. Buttons or a dial code that could that would work from an accessible phone can cause problems. The only way to achieve what you want is the mobile app and giving the admin users the ability to switch to the status extension to change the status and then switch back. Or do it via the web client. Not ideal but it's what you have available today.

I mean you could dial VM menu and login there as another extension and change via the menu. You will need to know that other extensions PIN to login as them.
