Hello, as in the title: is this possible? I tried selecting multiple extensions to edit but the "move up" or "move down" is greyed out for codec priority. I tried deleting the codecs and re-adding them in the desired order but when trying to save the setting: it didn't do anything.

Hello,

Sorry this is not possible at the moment, they will default to a built in order.

You will have to edit each one separately if you wish to change the order.

Any particular reason why this isn't a feature? Since the 3CX app is a constant setting for any extension

Hi,
A few weeks ago I had the same issue, and now I found a nice workaround
Select all users you need
Delete all codecs except the first codec you want to have on the top
Add eventually the other codecs one by one, ...
Click ok
Finished

I tried this already and it just reset the codec priority back to the default which is g711 u-law first

Not in my version 16.5
I can add all codecs in my preferred order, for multiple users

16.5? I only have the update 16 v3 available

On an unrelated note, we recommend you update to V16 Update 5 (16.0.5.612) especially if you have iOS users as they will stop working now that the new app is out.

Make sure you are either on Debian 9 or Win10/Server2016 as anything less is not compatible.
