Changing EXT Numbers

I can not find an easier way to change Extension numbers without having to remove the phone from the user, delete the user and then reassign a new user. Anyone have a better way?

As frederick said , I think this is the best practice to avoid old devices ability to reconnect to PBX with automatic reprovisionning

You just can't change an extension number. Delete and recreate is the only way.

Maybe you could try exporting the EXT list, removing the EXT number and then changing the EXT number and import. Though, you would need to factory reset old device.
