Hi - I don't know if anyone can help, but I am using 3CX v16 via the web client. When I click on the option in the blue rectangle at the top-left of the 3CX webclient to Install 3CX Browser Extension, it now opens the Chrome web store at the 3CX Click2Call extension for v18. If I search the Chrome web store, I do not find any results for the v16 Chrome extension. This is a bit of a problem because we have several hundred users that still use this and also many customers. Is anyone able to shed any light on this? Ideally we would like to continue to use v16 for a bit longer until we have migrated all systems to v18.

Absolute Disaster

Our Customers will hate us ... :(
I see dozens of people like you this morning.

You had MONTHS to upgrade and test and all. Stop blaming 3CX for God sake.

Yes, month to find out that Snom M700 arent supported anymore and to switch all to M900, take Part in the exchange program, deploy on diffent locations, montaged under roofs ....
All with the promise V16 is supported up to June 2022.

And with a migration plan between Christmas and NewYear.

Please let us have the previous extension.
It's available but not working on v16, only v18.

This is due to Google's APIs being deprecated and also due to changes in v18 that makes the extension unable to work with previous versions.

As I stated in another topic, your a clueless about working with corporate environments who have tons of custom integrations and solutions in place. All of these need to be validated against every new version that is being released.

I can imagen if you have customers who are only using default solutions the upgrade of those servers is a cakewalk ( which it is ). But when your deploying solutions instead of a regular telephony platform this is a completely different story.

Maybe you have nothing better to do then read mails and blog posts but a bit more communication towards partners/vendors would have been really handy in this scenario. "a couple of weeks" mentioned in a blog post is not the same as giving partners a real date when the extension won't be available anymore.

Wow. You really don't care about being a good 3CX partner.

By the way, I deal with many corporate installations. You just need to up yourself I guess so you feel better.

Also, you should know by now how 3CX works for updates and ETAs. If that isn't good for you, feel free to explore other PBXs.

"...The previous version will be supported for 12 months following the release of the current version ..."
Hey 3CX, June 2022 not December 2021
That post was actually referring to the 3CX PBX as a whole. The blog post published in October regarding the browser extension states the following:

"We urge v16 users to move to V18 Update 1 at their earliest convenience. We will be replacing the old browser extension with this new one in a few weeks."
