Looking to see how I can provision this ATA device. I have a few other non supported devices as well. I use a SBC.

That would be a good start. There's only so many combinations to try.

What do i use as the proxy though? The public IP or the FQDN?

Public IP or FQDN should be the same if properly resolved

If the ATA is not behind an SBC and the 3CX server is behind a static IP, then you can use that, if you wish. If it is a dynamic IP, then best to use the FQDN.

If the ATA is behind an SBC, then you will use the local IP of the SBC
