Hello,

Hoping to get some direction on configuration of setting up a wildcard ssl cert for our FQDN within 3cx.

Network solutions provides our cert.

We are running latest version and 3cx is installed on a Windows 10 Pro Virtual Machine on a VMware host.

I reviewed the below thread and attempted but each time I implement per the form nginx service fails to start.

https://www.3cx.com/community/threads/3cx-removes-intermediate-certificate-from-ssl.45167/

Is using a wildcard cert supported by 3cx?

Thanks in advance. Happy to give any information needed about the configuration needed to help assist in this thread.

Yes you can use a wildcard certificate but it is not the best if you want to use Secure SIP, but it will works for the Web UIs and provisioning without issues.

Thanks so much for the info. Is there any documentation on implementing? I have only found random threads and no official directions.

At the end of the day, it's just nginx. So Google nginx + Windows 10 + wildcard cert
