This is my first time running this in my current setup and I am getting "Register Failed" on my Yeahlink phone.

MY SETUP
3CX PBX installed in linode VPS. Not behind NAT.
Raspberry Pi SBC at my office.
Yeahlink T42S at my office.

I set up the Pi SBC as per the official guide. I got the "your SBC is up and running message at the end". All of the ports were left at the default.

I have configured multiple softphones with the QR code/email provisioning method. I can make calls with no issues.

My Yeahlink "Account (line)" is configured as follows.

Line Active: Enabled
Label: Office
Display Name: Office
Register Name: 0000 (the extension from the 3CX Web UI)
User Name: Taken from the 3cx Web UI/Authentication/ID
Password: Taken from the 3cx Web UI/Authentication/Password

SIP Server 1-
Server Host: 192.168.1.30 (SBC IP Address)
Port: 5060
Transport: UDP
Server Expires: 3600

The rest of the settings are left at default.

Hello. In your 3CX web ui do you see the phone? It should display something like 10.x.x.x:5060 via SBC 10.x.x.x:5060 letting you know it is ready to be configured. Also are you using a custom FQDN or one provided by 3CX? If custom it is possible that the phone does not have a root cert from your issuing CA. If so, you would either have to upload a root CA to your phone via the phones WEB console or navigate to security via the phones web console and turn off trusted certs only.

Sounds like you manually configured for your phone for some unknown reason. Factory reset it and use the PnP method to provision.

It's my understanding that via PnP you can only have one line per phone. I would like to set up this phone with multiple extension.

Line appearance or extension? You can have multiple line appearances for the same extension but only one extension. However to prevent issues like this you can PnP provision it so you get a working config and then add additional extensions manually.

So what I am after is being able to see which extension the person dialed on my office phone.

One part of my business is designing things like flyers, the other part is photography. Customers dial a different extension for help with flyers versus photography.

If my wife is in the office, I want her to let the calls dialed with the Photography extension go to voicemail, and for her to answer the calls dialed with the Design extension.

Is there another way to know which extension the called dialed?

Option 1:
Suggest get another DID. They are cheap if using SIP.
Then put a name for each DID.
The name then shows before the caller id - if enabled.
ie:
Rick Smith (cell phone number of 4805551212) calls:
Call 4805551313 and on your caller ID you see JR FLYERS: 4805551212
Call 4805551414 and on your caller ID you see BR PHOTO: 4805551212

Option 2:
Also, I think you can prepend ring group names.
So, when calling into IVR - send IVR to Ring Group instead.
Then the Ring Group Name would show up.

Goto Contact then Options to enable:
