We are trying to connect to the system using WinSCP to view the system files any ideas how to connect correctly?
Thank you

It is the same as if you were just using Ssh. You input your hostname (Can be FQDN or IP Address) and then your username or root and the password. What is the problem you are having?

In putty we get this error when entering the username in WinSCP we get connection error
Regards

Okay, I see what is happening.
Your host name should be your public IP for your instance. Username should be ec2-user. Leave password field blank. Then go to Advanced. In the left-hand pane, under SSH, select Authentication.
Then click the 3-dot menu next to the Private key file field and browse to your key file or input the path to your private key there. Click OK. Then click save back on the main screen again. You should now be able to connect.
Putty has a similar setup procedure for private key files.

If you do not have a private key, then you might be out of luck or need to generate one within the lightsail dashboard. I am unfamiliar with lightsail, but pretty well-versed in SSH and SFTP.

This worked (with user name admin)
Thank you!

Awesome. You are welcome!

So did Amazon/lightsail give you the username Admin or is that something you set yourself? I am just curious. Lightsail seems pretty cost effective.

admin is the user name on the 3cx system - LightSail provided the default Key

This information is right there on the connect tab of every Lightsail instance.
