My system is setup to not allow calls to many North American areas, including Dominican Republic.
(+1 809/829/849)

Yet, calls go through just fine.

However, someone tried to call Panama today, and it did not go through, as it is restricted.
Code:
Call from [1221] to [011507xxxxxx0] has been rejected by the 3CX Country Blocking Feature [011507].
Reason: 011507xxxxxx0 contains Prefix 011507. Calls to 011507 are not allowed by system.
Resolution: To allow this call access the 3CX Management Console, Settings, Security, Allowed Country Codes and enable the country or continent that matches this prefix.

My outbound rules treat this country as 11 digit dialing (or add a 1 if missing the area code).

Apparently the issue is that the DR does not require a 011 to call. It is an 11 digit number
1-809/1829/1849-xxx-xxxx i considered like a US Number

So, maybe if I uncheck USA - it wouldn't go thru...

good to know, I would have never guessed that one, i am going to create an outbound rule to block those calls.

I haven't tested it yet by turning off calls to the USA...

We actually want to be able to make calls to the Dominican Republic.

We have 4 offices there with 1 phone in each. They connect back to my corporate 3cx switch with a separate VoIP Account.
Some of their calls are to area hotels... the rate isn't awful for some calls. I think about 4.5 cents or so.
However some are 13 or 16 cents for some mobile providers.

Just create two outbound rules for the three area codes with and without the one 10 and 11 digit and move it to the top of your outbound list. Should block it. I am in Canada, so blocking us is not an option.
