CPU Utilizatino

Hello,

I've set up a test system (virtual machine) to try 3CX, and it seems to me that the utilization (no users on the system as yet) runs pretty high. The VM has 1 CPU w/4 cores and 8GB RAM, and with the system idle I'm seeing 70 - 85% load.

Could be correct, but just seems high to me.

It shouldn't be that high. Are you certain that 3CX is the application shown to be using that ?

Grabbed a shapshot with the following listed:

3CXPO - 13%
3CXMediaServer - 11%
VCEHost - 10%
3CXTunnel - 10%
3CXCP - 9%
3CXlvrServer - 8%
3CXPhoneSystem - 7%

This load looks really strange. Most processes should be quite idle, if there are no users. This is not a normal behaviour.
If you restart some processes or the server, things stay this way?
Maybe a PCAP could give you some hints of what the server is so busy doing?

Anybody has some ideas what could be the problem?

Let me verse the suggestion, if you stop the 3CX services does the CPU utilization go down?

I realize this is an older topic, but just wanted to let you know what my utilization is if that's of any help.
On a much older server
Intel Core 2 Q9400 @2.6ghz and only 4GB memory on Win server 2008 r2
Idle and no calls virtually no cpu usage or about 2%

Without knowing which actual processes are using that much cpu, I'd have to guess its probably windows trusted installer (windows update) or something else, not 3cx.
