I am looking for a way to create an app that allows me to have an extension dial an outside number but it's only allowed to be called from specific extensions.

So for example, we have 2 phones that are in guard shacks on the grounds and we want them to have easy access to call the local police department so we created an app that calls a outside number but we want it to be restricted to ONLY be allowed to be called from those 2 extensions and nobody else.

How can I accomplish this?

Thanks in advance!

Easiest way is to make an outbound rule

Thanks for that answer!

Ok, I guess I failed to explain right. I made extensions that call outbound calls. So for the local police they would call 811 but I only want certain extensions to be able to call that 811 extension. I just don't want someone calling into the IVR and dialing 811 and it calling the local police.

So instead of setting up extension with a forward on them, I just made a custom app that when they dial 811 it transfers the call to the police department. I was thinking of using a condition statement that allowed calls from only the excision but it's not working right.

Any ideas...

I figured it out. I wasn't putting the actions inside of the conditions box in the CFD app.
