Hello,
I asking me if it was possible to send the call type when we create new contact in POST request with a custom CRM.
I would like somethings like this :

{
"name": "New contact 3cx 555-1234",
"phone": "555-1234",
"call-type": "Inbound"
}

Regards.

Yes, just add it as a value under PostValues:
XML:
<PostValues>
    <Value Key="name" Type="String">New contact 3cx 555-1234</Value>
    <Value Key="phone" Type="String">555-1234</Value>
    <Value Key="call-type" Type="String">[CallType]</Value>
</PostValues>

Thanks for your answer.
But the Test CRM integration not works and is sending me the following error message:
"Unknown expression: CallType .Part: CallType"
I don't know why it's not works because i think my Scenario "CreateContactRecord" is correct.

XML:
    <Scenario Id="CreateContactRecord">
    <Request SkipIf="[CreateContactEnabled]!=True" Url="https://example.com/api/call/" RequestType="Post" RequestEncoding="Json" ResponseType="Json" >
        <PostValues>
          <Value Passes="2" Key="name">[[CreateContactName]]</Value>
          <Value Passes="1" Key="phone">[Number]</Value>
          <Value Passes="1" Key="call-type">[CallType]</Value>
        </PostValues>
      </Request>
      <Rules>
        <Rule Type="Any">id</Rule>
      </Rules>
      <Variables>
        <Variable Name="Id" Path="id" />
        <Variable Name="CallType" Path="call-type" />
      </Variables>
      <Outputs AllowEmpty="false">
        <Output Type="FirstName" Value="[CreateContactName]" />
        <Output Type="PhoneBusiness" Value="[Number]" />
        <Output Type="ContactId" Value="[Id]" />
      </Outputs>
    </Scenario>

What version of 3CX are you using? This has been added in 3CX v16.

I used the 16.0.273 version of 3CX, so i don't understand that

Sorry, the [CallType] variable is only available in the ReportCall scenario. That's why you can't use it in the CreateContactRecord scenario, which is executed in the context of a contact lookup.

Ok, thanks.
So, we have no solutions for this problem.

Not at the moment, this information is only available during Call Journaling... We're evaluating a new feature that would include this variable during contact lookup, but this is not confirmed yet, and of course there is no ETA.
