Create contacts or leads automatically the same as in the previous version

In Update 8 of 3CX v18, the way in which the operation works for customers not registered in the CRM to no longer create a contact with a default name was changed. Instead, from the Web Client you can decide whether you want to create a contact or not and define the contact details.

In the new version, is there any way for the system to automatically create contacts the same as before?

No, this behavior can't be changed. You would need to edit the template to achieve that. Please take a look at this for a reference on how to do it for a different template:
