Today I realized, that the dashboard is not really helpful, when trying to identify real current errors.
There are red exclamation marks, when using custom templates or generic sip provider, but all is working as it should.
But if a trunk is FAILING, there is only a green bulb with the text 0/1.

Don't you think that a failing trunk is a REAL error, and the dashboard should help to identify all the current errors?

I guess it would depend on the nature of the trunk and type of fault.

For example, if you are using an IP authenticated SIP Trunking provider it does not go through the registration process, so you have no way of telling whether it is working on the surface.

If you setup this type of trunk on 3CX - in trunks it displays green at all times regardless.

I would assume that at least the information displayed on the page of the trunklist will be reflected on the dashboard. There, the trunk was red as hell.

So you are using a registration based account I imagine.

You can as the administrator just get an email sent to notify you of the status of a trunk changing, under:
Settings >> Email >> Notifications.
