Dear,

Nice to meet you. I am wondering how to connect dedicated SIP Trunk to 3CX Hosted on Cloud. My SIP Trunk provider installed a CPE that provide SIP Trunk to my office. For on-premise PBX is not a problem but for cloud hosted 3CX, how can I get SIP Trunk connected to the instance? Appreciate your help and answers in advance. Thank you very much.

Hi @wmyatthu

There is no supported method to do that. You will need to either use a supported provider that can deliver a trunk through the internet or install the PBX on premise.

Can we use SBC to do this? As I know SBC can be used to act as a gateway between SIP Trunk Provider's CPE and Cloud PBX. Is it a possiblity?

Its possible yes but its neither tested nor supported. If you are having issues then its up to you to troubleshoot and solve them.
As I said there is no supported method to do this.

Ask you SIP Trunk Provider to provide you with SIP Registration Account.
SIP Gateway IP:
SIP User/ID:
SIP Password:

As @YiannisH_3CX Indicated, if your provider's SIP Gateway is not part of the approved ones, you can still use it, however, when you have issues, 3CX will not be able to provide you with the needed support.

So if you know networking you could setup a VPN that would allow your cloud-based PBX to reach the on-prem CPE. But your best bet is to keep it on-prem until you can switch to an approved provider, or see if the provider will let you do SIP OTT
