Hi,

I just switched to V20 Update 2 (Build 715) from V18.9a.
Currently I am trying to configure different deparments to have different voice prompts for their ''office holiday''

How do these work currently?
When I add the department to an existing IVR, the office hours of the deparment are the office hours it follows.
But how do I know what voice prompt it will use for ''When on holiday route to''.

Do I have to enable the ''Play Announcement''?
I already selected what prompt it has to use in the holiday hours section.

Otherwise the prompt section in the deparments are unnecessary.

Hi Steve,

Thank you for your response.

I had already seen this article, the problem I am currently on is that the client has 1 DID, incoming calls are checked on the CID's listed in the attachment. All other country codes are sent to the english IVR.
All IVR's have a different Departments.

How can I make the calls drop after playing the holiday prompt? Instead of going to a different extension. (I can ofcourse make a workaround IVR that has no message and drops the call anyway after 1 second.)

IVRs have an option "When on holiday route to"...set to End Call.

Yes I saw the end call option, but does the holiday prompt play first, before it drops the call?
Or does it just drop using that setting.

I want to caller to hear the holiday prompt and afterwards it will drop the call.

I drew out my current configuration I want to create, added in Attachments.

All lines are received on the same trunk, CID chooses the route it will take.
So I can't make a Call Processing Script runs script ''upon receiving a call on trunk''.
The same is true for ''When DID is called''.

How can I make a script that will only play the correct prompt and afterwards will drop the call.
So I can put it in the IVR section "When on holiday route to", instead of at Trunk/DID level.

Yes, the prompt will play before ending the call.

This will play the office closed prompt before dropping the call.

Hi Nicholas,
Thanks for your response.

This will play the office closed prompt before dropping the call.
But this is a static wav file right? I want the system to look up which wav to use automatically.
Feesdag-EN.wav is a message for a national holiday. Vakantie-EN.wav is a message for their vacation.

How can I configure it to use the current holiday prompt when using "When on holiday route to"

Yes, adding this in to the call handling items like Digital receptionists will be static.

To take the prompt from the holiday configuration would require the script to be configured.

Is there a script that only has the prompt playing part in it?
I don't know how to edit C# myself.

If so, I would be able to make the below CFG, and put the IVR holiday destination to this script.

The link provided above contains the script necessary. And there will be iomprovements in update 3 for this.
