Amazon is no stranger and needs no introduction for its hosting services. So we just took an evolutionary step and made 3CX available as a pre-configured solution on the AWS marketplace. You read that right! 3CX deployment on Amazon is now easier than ever with just these 3 steps:
  • Set instance options.
  • Deploy.
  • ...

This is great news! I know we will be leveraging this!

This is fabulous! Any chance with deploying 3cx on Amazon Lightsail?

We currently checking with them if we can get listed. It is a different process then been on AWS even it uses the same instances as a package deal.

Currently, we will not be able to provide an image via AWS LS as they are closed for image listings. If you use LS then PBXexpress is the only tool which can do this for the time being...

I deployed to Lightsail using PBXpress and worked great!
So simple and quick.

I deployed 3CX using the AWS Marketplace AMI, and all went reasonably well.
Just followed the defaults all the way through.
Unfortunately, am having "Mapping does not match..." errors on firewall test.
Any advice might be nice.

Have you followed the guide?
https://www.3cx.com/docs/pbx-amazon-aws-marketplace/
AWS does not allow range creation from the market place and you need to add one rule your self.

Yes, I have followed this.
Built it 3 times to ensure I was following.

Hi @uhpadmin

I just built a new one now as per our guide, the tests did not show any remapping errors. I made sure to use the security group generated by the marketplace 3CX deployment:

12785

Which security group did you pick for the machine, and does it have the above ?

Yes, the security group does have as per above.
I will try again.
I don`t have auto assign public IP4 address set on the subnet, however, what I have been doing is once the instance has launched and before I start to configure 3CX, I assign an EIP and restart the server. Would this create the mapping issue?
The public IP address changes everytime the server is restarted, right?

Please try to do it as per the guide with the “Auto-assign public IPv4 address” option enabled.

OK. will do.
When you restart a machine with the “Auto-assign public IPv4 address” enabled, the IP address will change, right?

I think this is more of a question for Amazon than 3CX
