After updating to 18u6, the Desktop App hangs up the headset when I am trying to use it for non-3CX audio such as GotoMeeting, Zoom, or (it seems) any other audio source.
Headset is an EPOS/Sennheiser SD headset, Headset integration = universal driver.
Symptom: headset disconnects (blue light turns off) after about 1 second.
Workaround 1: close Desktop App, open Desktop App, do not make any calls (or, presumably, use the headset with 3CX), join audio. (If I call *777, it will again repeatedly disconnect audio after hanging up.)
Workaround 2: change Desktop App "Headset integration" option to None, then change to another page in the app to save the change.
IOW it seems like the App is telling the headset, "you should not be off hook right now."
We only have Sennheiser so I'm not sure if it applies to other makes. What should happen is that if the user links the headset (blue light on) with the base, e.g. by pressing the base's "computer" icon, it stays linked so, for example Windows audio can be directed to the headset.
