I'd like to have my que/ring group transfer to a different que/ring group after 8 seconds. It appears the minimum time before the call can be transferred is 15 seconds, what is up with that? Why? How can I change this to shorter duration? Is there any solutions? Thanks.

It is probably assumed that 15 seconds (three rings usually), is about the right time to allow people to answer a call before it goes elsewhere. This has been raised previously, but probably not enough demand to implement.

Why would you want it shorter, that defeats the whole purpose of using a queue. try using a ring group.

Well is it possible to stagger the agents within the que? Can I make it so for the first few seconds only X agent rings, then after 8 seconds X agent rings in conjunction with agent Y. Is that possible?

Yes and No, you can use a Prioritized Hunt, order the agents from top to bottom as you want them to ring, example Ring Time (Seconds) 10, can be changed to whatever, but it will not differ from that 10 Seconds. to do this you would need to fail to another queue. Heads up 10 Seconds is about 2 rings, not very long, and maybe too short.
