DHCP and Phones showing in Phones tab

Having an odd issue. I setup a DHCP server (OpenDHCP on Windows 10) and it hands out IP addresses to the phones but the phones don't show up in the phones tab in 3CX.

I disable OpenDHCP and turn on the DHCP on the sonicwall and they show up. I'm not even dealing with any auto provisioning yet. No Option 66 in either. I removed it from both dhcp servers for troubleshooting. The sonicwall just hands out an IP, Mask, and DNS the same as OpenDHCP.

Anyone experience anything similar?

How exactly does the phone show up in the list? I have an unsupported door phone connected to the network and it will show up in the list but a Yealink T46S with supported firmware will not. The Yealink phones were just working on another system and are moving.

Nothing that I can see in 3CX logs.

The system uses PnP multicast to display the phones within the 3CX management console.

Are you sure the phones are getting an IP address from OpenDHCP (On the phone - Menu -> Status)

Have you tried factory defaulting the phone, when OpenDHCP is running,

I have checked. I assigned an address to the phone with a static reservation. Logged into the phone from the Web UI on that IP. Changed the static reservation and rebooted the phone and used the new IP to login to the web.

I have factory defaulted the phone multiple times. Any time I switch over to that sonicwall DHCP it shows up in 3CX.

Is OpenDHCP on the same box as 3CX?

No it isn’t. It runs in a windows box

Well nowhere did you say 3CX was running on Debian but the problem doesn't make sense. Does it really matter though? If you can Option 66 then it sounds like you are all set anyways. Not sure if it's worth troubleshooting.

PnP uses multicast. Something about your DHCP setup is blocking that multi-cast traffic from reaching the 3CX server.

Were the phones on the same subnet as the PBX?

I assume your free DHCP server hands out also Option 66 or 128 which in many phones stops processing to the next provisioning step which would be sending a PnP Message.

In snom I know it is RPS, DHCP, PnP and once any of them respond the phone goes not to the next provisioning option...
