Ok I have fresh install of v10 sp6 and are trying to get Dial in and Dial out via voice mail to work.
I have set allow extensions to be able to dial out from the voicemail menu to 1 and restarted 3cx.
But still cant dial in on an outside line then out from in the voice mail menu >> I get "call transfer failed" :(
I can dail out from local phones via voice mail.
I can also dial in from an outside line and transfer the call to an outside line this works fine.
Am i missing something :?:

You must dial the same digits (format) as if you were calling an outside number from that extension, including any prefix.

3CX did not find an outbound rule to match the digits you dialled.

Thanks, but im using the same format 0 XXXXXXXXX so the 0 will be stripped (outgoing plan) from a local phone via voice mail on the 3cx system and that works fine and doesn't work from voice mail menu on outside phones. :!:

Are your incoming and outgoing call using the same trunk group (provider), or two different trunk groups? If two, do the outbound rules provide the second trunk group an an alternate route, as the first would be occupied with the incoming call.
Double check your outbound rules, the log points to a problem there. It is saying that there is no known route to target. Do you have the outbound rule applicable, restricted to certain extensions?

If you take one extension off hook, dial an outside number then set the receiver down (still off-hook), then from a second extension, place a call to the number you were trying in the log you posted. Does the call go through?

Thank you for your help so far.
We are using one truck. 5 lines on this truck.
I have checked the outgoing rules and they seen to be ok as we can ring in on the voip line, answer it, then transfer it to and outside line via the voip line. Works without any problems.
I was thinking the outgoing rules also but we can ring out from within voice mail on all extenions.

Outgoing rule = Ext 100-999, Number Lenght 6-13, Strip 1, for Clubtelco >> this is the only one and only one route.
I have done the test for you results below (Works without a problem)

If you've put the extension range, that the outbound rule applies to, as it appears you've done, going by your post...I'm wondering then, if that is restricting the call attempt. 3CX may see the call as NOT originating from one of those extensions and therefore has no outbound rule to apply. Try deleting the extensions that the rule applies to, just leaving it blank, then try.

Thank you for your help, ;)
I removed the ext from the outbound rules and works without a problem. But couldn't dail out from the ext, so I now have 2 outbound rules now

One
Outgoing rule = Ext 100-110, Number Lenght 6-13, Number Prefix 0, Strip 1, for Clubtelco >For Ext Calls

Two
Outgoing rule = Ext Blank, Number Lenght 6-13, Nmber Prefix 0, Strip 1, for Clubtelco >Dail In Dail Out Via Voice Mail Calls

So it was an outbound rules problem after all.
This appear to be working fine now, thank you.

It seems odd that you could not dial out when you removed the extension range from the outbound rules. My understanding, and the way I first used it, is that if left blank, it applies to all.

If some extensions are put in, then the rule applies to those extensions only.

This way you could have two (or more) groups of extensions dialling exactly the same outside number, yet routing out over different trunk groups.

When you call into a voicemail, and enter your PIN, go through the menu and then place an outside call, you should be considered to be dialling as if you were that extension. So, theoretically, if you had included all possible extension numbers in the outbound rules, as you had, then you should have been able to dial out.

Maybe there is a bug?
