Unsupported Dinstar UC2000-VE to send/receive SMS in 3CX

Hello there,

Following the conversations here on the board, I obtained a Dinstar UC-2000VE (GSM gateway) and integrated its VoIP functionality successfully into 3CX.

I wondered whether anyone has also successfully enabled the ability to send and receive SMS through the gateway from 3CX. Is there a user I could reach out to for advice?

Before everyone jumps on it, I understand that this device is not officially supported by 3CX. Here in Albania no other brands are available and this is all I got.

As you mentioned, since this is not a 3CX Supported gateway we can't really provide any specific advice for it, though, regarding SMS, I do have to mentioned that we only support it when using specific SIP Providers for the 3CX SMS feature: https://www.3cx.com/docs/manual/sms-text/

Thanks for the quick reply Chris. Do I understand correctly that the SMS feature is not available for hardware integrations (including supported gateways) but limited to the list of selected SIP providers?
