I recently ran in to an issue with a client using v18 and Yealink T46U phones. We always prefer to use Yealink's YMCS/RPS services, as the endpoint control is far more feature-rich, but v18 doesn't have an option to disable the RPS relay service. So, here's the workaround I was able to figure out:
Step 1: I added the phones as router phones to the appropriate extension in the 3cx webclient
Step 2: I used the RPS removal tool from Yealink at ticket.yealink.com and deactivated the RPS link between the 3cx RPS relay and the phones
Step 3: I added the phones to Yealink YMCS and RPS (without errors this time, as initially I was getting a failure because 3cx was already registering the phone to it's own RPS service)
Here you go! Hopefully this saves you some time!
