I have been digging through the threads and this seems to be asked often, and the answers are very varied and none seem to do what I would think is a simple security config.
If someone leaves the organisation and has configured their extension on their smart phone, how do you disconnect it without removing the extension and recreating it? Changing the password does not work as the phone app will reconnect in the background. Even turning off the tunnel and resetting the password will only block it until you turn the tunnel back on for the next person to who gets allocated that extension. Logic tells me that there is an identification handshake between the app and the system that relies on some form of cookie or certificate style identification. In theory, it then should be as simple as changing the key and the system not responding to the old key for that to break the connection. But I can not find anything anywhere to do this.
Am I missing something here?
