Double Templates

I tried to customize the dial plan for my Cisco SPA 504G phones and saved a new template. Now all cisco phones have two templates in the Settings -> Provisioning Templates and new phones will not register with the system. How can I get back to one template for each phone?

When you customize templates, you will end up with two or more templates for each phone. Make sure you have followed the instructions here:

Specifically, under "Cloning a phone template for particular needs" - make sure you've modified the names of the phones under the under the <models> tag as so:

<models>
      <model ua="SIP-T32G">Yealink T32 - Custom</model>
      <model ua="SIP-T38G">Yealink T38 - Custom</model>
</models>

Then, they should show up properly under the provisioning tab and new phones should be fine.

What, specifically, did you modify in your templates?
