Dynamics 365 update - click to dial not working

Hi,

Since the 2021 Wave 1 release was installed, the 3CX Extension no longer underlines the numbers within Dynamics.

There is a Phone button next to each number in Dynamics that then gives the option to launch an app and then opens the new phone call activity form.

The app launch doesn't work as its an extension, also 3CX integration creates the new phone call activity so we don't want this to open either.

Unfortunately this is how Dynamics renders it now, so there is not a lot we can do for the Browser Extension to recognize it.
The only idea I have, although I am not sure if it is possible, you would need to ask MS Support, is if you can make this button use the tel: protocol.
If you can, then you could install the 3CX Windows App, register it as the default app for TEL protocol, so every time you press on that button in Dynamics, it would launch the native Windows app.

The big question though is, if MS can change the protocol of this button.
